11.1V 8000mAh Lithium Polymer Battery Pack for Compact Equipment
The 126090 3S1P 11.1V 8000mAh Lithium Polymer Battery Pack is designed for electronic equipment that requires higher voltage, extended operating time, and a rectangular battery structure. It combines three 3.7V 8000mAh 126090 polymer cells in series to produce an 11.1V nominal output while maintaining an 8000mAh rated capacity.
The completed pack provides 88.8Wh of nominal energy. Its approximate dimensions are 97 × 60.5 × 38mm, allowing it to fit devices with a flat or rectangular battery compartment. The pouch-cell structure can also help product designers use internal space more efficiently than some rigid cylindrical configurations.
How Does the 3S1P Battery Structure Work?
The 3S1P configuration uses three cells connected in series and one parallel group. Connecting the cells in series increases voltage but does not add their capacities together.
The completed pack therefore provides:
- 11.1V nominal voltage
- 12.6V full-charge voltage
- 8000mAh rated capacity
- 88.8Wh nominal energy
- Three 126090 polymer cells
Because the battery voltage changes during discharge, the connected equipment must accept the battery’s actual operating voltage range. It should not be treated as a regulated or constant 12V power supply unless the device includes suitable voltage-regulation circuitry.
PCM Protection and Charging Requirements
The lithium ion polymer battery pack includes a 3S protection circuit designed to manage common electrical risks, including overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent, and short circuits.
The battery uses a CC/CV charging method with a 12.6V charge-limit voltage. The recommended standard charging current is 1.6A, equal to 0.2C. The listed maximum charging current is 4A (0.5C), but the final charging current should always match the approved cell, PCM, charger, and thermal design.
The charge cut-off current is 80 mA, equal to 0.01C for an 8000 mAh pack. A charger designed for a single 3.7V cell must not be used with this 3S battery pack.
Equipment Integration and Application Matching
This battery pack can be evaluated for portable instruments, monitoring devices, communication equipment, robotics, testing equipment, medical electronics, and other rechargeable products requiring an approximately 11.1V nominal battery system.
Before choosing the battery, confirm:
- Device operating-voltage range
- Normal operating current
- Startup or peak current
- Required operating time
- Available battery-compartment dimensions
- Connector model and polarity
- Charging method
- Operating and storage temperature
- Certification and transport requirements
The listed 8–10A overcurrent value refers to a protection trigger range. It must not be presented as the maximum continuous discharge current. Continuous and peak discharge requirements should be confirmed according to the device load, cell specification, PCM design, and operating temperature.
Custom Lithium Polymer Battery Pack Options
Zenilove can provide a custom lithium polymer battery pack based on the device’s electrical and structural requirements. Available project options may include connector type, wire gauge, wire length, terminal direction, PCM design, insulation, outer wrapping, NTC wiring, label content, and pack dimensions.
Customers should provide the device voltage, continuous current, peak current, available installation space, connector drawing, expected runtime, charging conditions, and estimated order quantity before sample development begins.
For projects involving international lithium-battery transportation, testing and documentation should be reviewed against the applicable UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, subsection 38.3. Certification availability should be confirmed for the specific finished battery model rather than assumed from a similar product.
